steamworks common redistributables not downloading

i was getting a disk write Error anytime i went to launch a game from steam, I noticed that the steamworks common redistributables wasnt downloading and for some reason it wouldn't repair so i went into the redistributables file and deleted everything in it and that seemed to fix the problem hope this helps somone

if you're getting a disk write error it means

1) your anti-virus is killing it, white list it
2) you have a permissions isssue, launch stem as an admin

Or go into Steam Storage Manager and repair the Library folder. This will ask for admin on the spot so it can get the necessary permissions to repair the folder permissions.

have you managed to find a fix i really dont wanna do a disk repair

Maybe you should read what OP wrote again, or other post with VC++ all-in-one driver.

If you dont get it is your OS that had a issue with its rights and file issue with what once worked now it don't, this is why admin and repair or reinstall all fix this.

and maybe you should take screenshort at already installed VC++ screw version nr at windows installed version with C++, so you can compaire it after the all-in-one did its job, or do it yourself at MS VC++ DL page.

There is a lazy way and there is MS WAY, steam and game devs is the problem here on your system.

This is your problem at your pc.
and be happy we dare say it like that, no one else can fix this at your pc , you have to do it.

if you want tips like buy new pc or hire someone to do it, i'm sure steam user can tell you this also.

Is that a script that installs each of the runtimes one by one or is that the one that seems to be a repack?

Yeah a lazy way to get all and be done with it then MS own per install.
dont forget this is way back then i and other steam user learn the many odd old version and odd game bugs, then i notice that nice place witn all-in-one.

But we have debat this before, we cant stop old gamee not for use old VC++ in a install script. and if you dont know better what old outdate version can screw up things in a game that use other newer VC++, you are in trouble and game keep get issue like crash and you cant figure it out.

Only old gamers know them VC++ its runtime driver from the past, i haver never seen a user complain over newest VC++ dont work, require old broken hardware maybe of things they dont support or Graphoic driver not support anymore or its driver never got update, again we are over in crazy ideas, most gamers here know new or newest graphic drivber matter today.
not old cd-rom grafic driver from then pc was made.
