G920 wheel not recognized
Windows and G-hub recognize my newly-installed wheel and all the controls work properly, but Steam says it does not see an attached controller. Have fiddled with all the settings to no avail.

Simple, just don't use SteamInput for wheels. That will only cause problems.
The games that support wheels don't need that anyway.

As I understand it, I've removed Steam input for wheels via the Settings -- but my wheel still doesn't work with Steam games. Is there more than turning off input in the Settings?

Does the game in question support wheels and the G920 in particular?

For example for you last played game:

For other games:

I can recommend that guy's advice. Enhanced my gameplay with the Thrustmaster TMX in ETS2/ATS a lot.

Did you ever find a solution?
I am having the same problem with a new Windows 11 PC. Steam will not recognise the controller. despite G Hub recognising it. Did you ever find a solution? I am trying to use it with RFactor2. It used to work OK on my previous Windows 10 PC.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
