how do I cancel all pending community market transactions?
My account was hacked today, I have managed to cancel most of the market listings, but many still went through. luckly some are still "pending." I have been searching for the last hour on how to cancel these transactions but the overwhelming majority of posts are about transactions that were false flagged. Someone please help! I'm sure someone else has this issue but I cant find anything.

"Pending" is just another state of "sold". What's pending is Steam to release the funds from those sales to your account. So those are gone.

Keep your account secure, because you're about to learn an ounce of prevention is way more valuable than a pound of cure.

If your account was truly compromised, it is a good reason to ask support for a reverse.

https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithPurchase/?microtxn=1

They may or may not help you, though. I'm not gonna promise anything.

You will get the answer within 1x24 hours if the traffic ticket is not too crowded.

Tell us their reply here after you get it, if you don't mind. :eatyourbroccoli:
What ever was traded away or any money that was spent will be gone for good and you will not get any money or items back.

There is no reverse. Once your items/money is stolen steam will not give items/money back. Account security is your responsibility.
Go through steps 1-6 to secure your account:

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a trusted/clean device.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

I was under the assumption that this message comes from the email notifications from steam:

Originally posted by Steam:
"An item you listed in the Community Market has been sold to ___. Your Steam Wallet has been credited ___.

The purchase price for this item is unusual. Funds received from this sale will be held temporarily.

Funds from this sale will be held by Steam for up to five days. In the meantime, the funds will be included in your pending wallet balance. If necessary, the transaction may be reversed and the item returned to your Steam Inventory.

Steam Support cannot modify or accelerate this process. We apologize for the inconvenience.

This email message will serve as your receipt. You can also access your Purchase History online at any time.

Was prepared exactly for this kind of problem. :eatyourbroccoli:

They must changed it then and will return stolen items and money now.

I believe that statement has more to do about failed funds than it does about stolen inventory.

I just recieved word back from steam support, they will not reverse any market transactions. I was under the hope that a "pending" transaction meant it could be cancelled

Yes, that is quite confusing. I've wondered it myself ever since they added the feature. I feel like if the account is recovered through Steam support the transaction should be undone. The only issue would be people who have purchased the item legitimately.

If the funds have failed, then your wallet is not recharged to begin with, so how can it be?

The items should not be sellable for the same amount of time.
So NOTHING could happen. Only malicious sells being reverted. No loss for anyone legitimate.
