Getting save files from Steam Cloud
I don't know how this ended up so troubling, but I don't know how to download save files from Steam cloud if it doesn't automatically happen.

I have a new steam Deck, and I've been migrating from the old system to the new.
But some files haven't successfully showed up on the new Deck automatically. So I wish to get them there manually.

I figured that means I have to go find the files on cloud and download, except... I realized I actually don't know how to find and view cloud saves on Steam itself. I thought there would be some page or option to view the online files, but I can't seem to find it...

How do I access and view cloud saves on Steam? (Not another browser, Steam itself)

Okay, that's one problem solved.

Next problem though is that even though I click download, it seems almost nothing happens.
Just the spinning wheel at the upper left corner and that's it.
For those of you that don't know, listen carefully. Here's how it works:

When you purchase/download content (games, videos, DLC, mods, etc) it stores it in the Steam Cloud. That data then stays stored on your cloud space until you click download. The data is then transferred to your harddrive. Once on your harddrive, you can use it, modify it, play it, do whatever you want. When you update data, as in modify files or download updates for games, that data also sends a copy to your cloud space so in the future, if you ever uninstall a game, the information of the last save is already there. This is to prevent incidents where you can't reinstall due to the data being out of sync. Being out of sync means the data on your harddrive and the data in the cloud don't line up perfectly. There is missing data on the cloud space. That's why the updates are required. Also, when the client updates, it too sends a copy of itself to your cloud space so when or if you reinstall Steam, it's already there.

All useful information, thank you.

One snag, though. I've been having trouble actually downloading that save data to my Deck. I have a game with cloud support, but the Deck isn't getting the data from online.
