I can not change my shop region.

So I been living in the USA for a while. I recently got a steam gift card (bought in the USA) the funds show up in $ and then got converted into the currency of my old country. So changing the country during checkout results in an error message, when trying to complete the purchase. A gift card from the country of current residence should have been a valid and legitimate payment option in the first place. But ok, even tho it it counter intuitive to put more money in a system that is already giving me problems I tried to add a new payment method. The cc is from then USA so is the address attached to it. When trying to add funds to my wallet I get an error message as well. So I’m stuck all ways described by steam result in error messages. Anyone got an idea how to fix this?

The order should be funding source from the country with an address from country first to change
Its probably got all mixed up and steam has derped.
Wait for a while (the time you wait could be 1day to 1 week depends)and try again if not you need to speak to steam support

Ok, thx for the help. Been on it for three days. I’ll wait, maybe that will help. Yeah unfortunately so far the steam support was no help. All I got is copy and paste answers to the article on how to change the location. If that article would have helped I would not need the customer support…
