Skin missing, HELP ME
Here's the thing guys, last night i decided to trade CS2 knife skin with my own friends. *Note that this all happened while i'm chatting with him through discord. So, i want to try his other knife skin and made the offer, he cannot accept the offer because on his side, the trade offer was somehow cancelled.

It's all and fine but the skin that i offered disappeared from my inventory when i tried to make a new offer because the first offer was somehow cancelled. Mind you, it's been more than 12 hours now and the skin is not my inventory. Checked the trade history, and there's the history of me traded the skin to my friend while he did not have it

I did seek help from the steam support but all i got was "This help request has been closed."??? Without any reply? Can someone please help me with this issue. That skin worth so much to me. The trade was made all inside steam, no 3rd party website or whatsoever. It's not fair for me to be ignored like this when i spent actual money on Steam

Update:

"CS:GO items are available to all users who have purchased the game. Users borrowing the game through Steam Family Sharing will not receive in-game drops.

Please double check your inventory to confirm that the items you are expecting are not there.

Feel free to contact Steam Support if the items are missing from your inventory or the game. Be sure to include the name of the item you cannot find."

Is this steam's response to my inquiry? If it is, then i would like to apologize for saying that they did not reply to me but if it isn't, HELP ME GUYS

If tickets are closed without a response, this is usually a sign of a compromised account.

Secure your account and then figure out someone got access.
Do not TRADE anything.

Scan for Malware/virus https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/
Deauthorize all devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
Change your Account password on a secure device, mobile phone for example.

It means that someone probably has access to your account and is simply closing your support requests.

Yes, you need to do every step above. Also. there is no point in contacting Steam Support. They will not restore missing items.
What's happened is your account has been hijacked, likely cause is you gave a phishing site you login details. That allowed them to access your account. Then when you sent a trade to your friend the hijackers BOT cancelled it. It then modified their account to look like your friends and resent the trade all with a few seconds so you didn't notice a delay. You then ignored the warning about the target NOT being a friend and confirmed the trade.

Your skins are gone. Report the account that received them, block, move on and stop

Logging in on dodgy sites & confirming trades without paying attention to the warnings and checking them.

Do all the steps in post #2 above to secure your account
Oh no. This is heartbreaking. So this is what they called API scam, yes?

Yes, because with an API key they can monitor what your account does. If they have bot access to your account they can easily cancel the trade before it pops up for confirmation, then create a new trade directed to a lookalike account.
This sucks man. Thanks for the explanation and guides, guys. Appreciate it
cant se my new skins for cs 2
