Why is there no way to contact steam support? They take out money and provide no support.

They have literally an entire Support section with multiple ways to create a ticket for their Support system.
So you either did not look for it or have a problem that is not listed, meaning they cant help you with it anyway.

I need a refund. The refund system sends back an auto response that I have more than 2 hours on game. This is not true and there is no way to contact support to have them investigate.

Which game? Also its "2 hours of playtime and max 14 days since purchase"
BOTH need to be fulfilled to qualify for a refund.

Correct. They only communicate through the ticket system.

Go back to your purchase and instead of choosing refund, click on "I have a question about this purchase" and explain the situation to them. If they still say "no", then you will have to accept that as the final answer.

I suspect its Call of Duty? Yeah, Activision had the "brilliant" idea to merge the old version with the new pay campaign so you are over the refund limit right away if you played the old version before.


Do what rawWwRrr wrote, select the purchase on the support page, select " i have a question about this purchase" and you can write a manual ticket. Explain the situation and ask again for a refund that way.
In these cases its usually always granted.
The automated refund system really cant check anything beside the playtime on the app id and thats so high because of the merge.

I had the game 1 hr and 30 mins. CoD MW3. It is adding any WZ and DMZ playtime from before I purchased CoD MW3.

Explain the entire issue carefully.

And hope for the best.

Don't touch WZ3/DMZ until you get a reply from support.
