2024 Update: Steam UI not Clickable

Hi all! Wanted to share a problem AND solution with you... I had this frustrating problem where I could click things in the middle (web browser) portion of the Steam UI, but the actual UI (menus like Library/Community... and the main menus like Steam and View) were unclickable.

I went one solution at a time from previous topics, and found that simply going to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\" and DELETING the "resource" folder forced the reset I couldn't even get with a re-install. I'm fully working again!

Just hope this helps anyone who is getting as frustrated as I.

I'm still having the same issue with the Community tab. Also the Friends tab is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ too.

Can Confirm this still works. I was having a problem where the library and all steam settings were invisible. Wiping that folder then relaunching steam fixed it.
