Can't take screenshots unless run as administrator.

Pretty much the title, steam refuses to take screenshots (the button just doesn't do anything) unless I run steam with administrator privileges, any idea how to fix this? I've tried reinstalling steam already.

please post in the specific game hub, not in the general hub, nobody here can help you unless we know which game it's not working in

if the screenshot folder for the game is inside "c:\program files" or "c:\program files(x86)" you will need admin privileges

It is related to all games, hence why I posted it in the general steam discussions. Every single game has this issue for me.

My steam folder is in D:\Programs\Steam so neither of them and I have already granted full control for all users on my PC to this folder.

Oh - that looks like it's either time to completely re-install Steam, because user profiles have probably been messed with at some point, or re install Windows.
But first, what are search engine results indicating is the cause, I'm assuming you have done a few searches for similar problems.

I have fully reinstalled steam, I have followed couple of instructions of how to deal with this from different sources after googling, and none of them helped besides running steam as admin, which wasn't in any of the solutions, it's just I decided to do on my own.
I am most definitely not reinstalling my windows just for screenshots to work tho, it got broken after a steam update i'd assume, so perhaps it will be fixed as well in the future update (s), thanks for the help tho.

Yeah sorry, not had this issue before, I hate that re-install is often the thing everyone wants you to try first. And looking at the steam system logs is a bit of chore as a way to dig deeper.
