Windows 10 game bar

I tried this feature and it didn't really work as I hoped. I tried play and record 4 different Steam games in window mode for 5 mins. It recorded only the first 10~47 seconds of my gameplay, 4 out of 4 attempt per game, never passed a min. However if I record Solitaire Collection and web browser, it recorded the full 5 mins with no problem. Where did I screw up?

In greater detail. I loaded the game, pressed Win+Alt+R. A red tab showing the amount of time recorded and counting appears on the screen. After 5 mins according to the red tab, I pressed Win+Alt+R to stop the recording. Red tab shows me 3 dots which I think is processing? After red tab disappears, a black box pops up, telling me only ~30 seconds have been recorded. In the Captures folder, indeed it was only the first ~30secs recorded, file size of ~22MB. In the general settings, I uncheck background recording, checked show timer while recording, max length to 1 hour, uncheck tips and xbox controller.

I tried playing for 30 mins and the max is still 47secs

I'm using a laptop with I7-4700HQ and GT 745M.

Any recommentation how to make it work or should I DL other screen video recorder software? Thank you.

So the game bar don't work for you as well? Really weird how they intro new feature in but doesn't work with other program/apps.
