world of warcraft showing up on steam ?

Hello, i have a steam friend and he playes world of warcraft same as me but when he starts wow it show up on steam like josh is playing world of warcraft how can i do that ?
Because i play alot non steam games would be awesome if my steam friends can see what im playing ?

Open the Steam client. Click "Games", then "Add a non-Steam game to my library".

Does it pop it than to all my friends like a normal steam game in the right corner ?

It should, though I haven't actually used this feature, so take what I say with a grain of salt.
