STEAM CONTROLLER ANNOYING KEYBOARD POP UP DURING GAMES. STEAM WONT HELP.

I have been having problems with my STEAM CONTROOLER and the annoying left analog stick keyboard. I have been using the left analog stick in game with no problems and then BAAM out of nowhere this annoying keyboard has been popping up and I cant get rid of it. I have disabled BETA, I have exited Big Screen Picture Mode, and other things as well. I cant get rid of it and I have many post about this. STEAM WONT HELP. What do I do???????????

Have you checked your controller settings in big picture mode? I accidentally set something to the gyro function... a lot of fun that was while playing....

Also, are you saying the keyboard thing stays up even after you exit your games and things?

I press the left analog and boom the keyboard takes up the whole screen while im playing and even when I exit during the game the screen stays black. I have been using the left analog to play elder scrolls with no problem and then all of a sudden its nothing but a problem.

One solution I found was to go to Steam > Settings > Controller > Desktop Configuration. It shows a single default action set and action layer with "Show Keyboard" mapped to left and right joystick movement. Click each box containing that command, click into the 'Click Action' field where it shows "Show Keyboard", and click Remove at the bottom, then back to get back to the previous menu. This should remove the trigger that is causing the visual keyboard to appear.
