corsair scimitar side button problem

ive owned a corsair scimitar for about a month everything went fine but now the side buttons doesnt work, ive binded them to the keys i want, i have the latest update but it still doesnt work. anybody know what i should do?

no its a mouse, but it works now i just had to restart my computer.

Although, you said you've already tried a (firmware?) update.

If you haven't found the solution already, I figured it out a few days back.

In corsair utility engine add an action and change it from a macro to a remap key. works perfectly in every game and application since I done this

i got it working, sometimes they dont work, then i just restart my pc. think its a problem with the engine.

I had the same issue, restarting my PC would reset the mouse and allow the buttons to work again. I had an instance today and updated the Utility Engine (you must go through their site and manually download it as their update button in the engine itself doesn't work), and after updating, the buttons worked. I don't know if this was because the issue was fixed in a later update or if the update served as a reset for the mouse since all files had to be deleted and reinstalled. It's at least worth a shot.
