Shadowplay is only for GTX 600 series and up.

So with a GT730, no you can't.

The 700 series (which you have) supports Shadowplay. So yes, you can use it. FPS drops aren't an issue as that's the way Shadowplay works.

You actually can :) I doing a research and i found this

every (maybe) nvidia gpu can run shadowplay. nvidia make the requirements high so people will buy the stuff such as gtx 600. Thanks for the help by the way :D

I stand corrected then.

Mind if I ask whether or not it works well?

It doesn't work at all. The video is from 2013 when Shadowplay was still in beta and the requirements weren't fully established yet. The workaround in this video stopped working a few months after it was posted.

Laptop GPU drivers tend to tweak performance down a little compared to their desktop counterparts because they overheat more easily. I imagine Nvidia blocked mobile GPUs that were never intended to utilise Shadowplay for this reason.

It works fine for me

It does work on a kepler GT 730. If you have a Fermi GT 730, then bad luck.
