Steam Link to Macbook Air

I just got the steam link, and it won't connect properly to me Macbook Air. The link detects it and says it's online. But then I get the message "Couldn't start streaming on the remote computer", How can I fix that and start streaming.

Currently Mac OS X, Linux, and SteamOS, with support for more systems coming soon. 

Therefore I'm pretty positive at the present moment you can't stream from Mac OS X to Steam Link.

Mac OS X:
Streaming from a Mac OS X host is supported on Mac OS X 10.8 and newer.

And Steam Link is a "to" device to stream to, not a "from" -device. Steam Link is completely dependent on another device streaming to it.

In otherwords, you cannot stream from Steam Link.

Works with MacBook Pro, may need updating?
Insert external hard drive/usb stick check updates then try connecting

I have already upgraded to 10.11, but it still doesn't work.

If I have issues it always connects after restarting steam.
Try wired connection see if it works, make sure your in big picture?
