144Hz on one Dvi slot?
Okay so my GPu has only one dvi slot. Does this mean that I wont be able to plug in the right cables to a 144hz monitor?

Yeah, that would work with a Duel-Link DVI-D.

Just ensure it's "Duel-Link" and that will support up to 144Hz.

Some great picks in hardware for serious hardcore gaming, have a blast!

Thank you! You saved me, I just googled around and found out that theres dual link dvi cables, not just Dual dvi thing where theres two heads on one end. Phew

Does your card have a display port?
It has three display ports

Display port was invented as the successor to DVI, it has a higher bandwith and can carry things like sound which DVI can't.

I think the point Nightenhelser was trying to make is that if both your GPU and monitor support DP, it's the logical cable to use.
