Gta 3 "can not find 640x480 video mode" // need help
I bought GTA III, but it does not work. At start I will always "can not find 640x480 video mode" appears. I have tried all the Google results were, but nothing helped. Compatibility mode on Windows XP (service pack 2) / Windows 7 provided. Submitted that it should start with 640x480, the bit set version on 16-bit, started everything in Admin mode ... nothing worked. Did someone perhaps another solution? Would the game like to play. Use Windows 8.1.

Go to the GTA executable file, right click it, properties, compatibility, check 'Run in 640x480 resolution', and set the color mode to 16-bit.

Share your findings! :)

Set the compatibility mode to Windows 98, if applicable.

Put it in your Grand Theft Auto III folder.
