Not able to change my background?? .-.

I have no clue why, but I cannot change my background at all.
Like, the option in my profile settings is non existant.
I had a steam yeaarsss ago, and I had the option back then, it was some team fortress background. I never changed it then because I didnt use steam that much.

but for whatever reason, now, I don't have the option to change it to any background.

Someone please help me this is so weird and I looked everywhere for a solution ):

Do you have a background right now that you can use?

Check your inventory, maybe you sold or traded all of your backgrounds.

no, the option isn't showing up at all

If you don't have a background currently in your Steam inventory, then the option to showcase one will not be visible. (My assumption)

Do you see one here?

You don't. Craft a badge, or buy/trade for a background.
