How do I connect my disk GTA 5 to my steam account
I brought gta 5 on disk and I was wondering if there is a way that I can link it to my steam account so I can buy money from my wallet to my gta account

You don't.

The only way to get Steam version of Grand Theft Auto V is by buying the game from the Steam Store.

Actually he can enter the serial number of the disc he bought on steam and activitate it there? Wait he can't because he bought this from a store , I wonder if that would work? But isn't the disc version seperated from steam? You can just add it as program and play it on steam though.

No, he can't. GTA5 only activates through Rockstar Social Club when it comes to the retail version. Just like Max Payne 3. (On the other hand, Max Payne 3's digital keys were via Steam; unlike for GTA5.)

In his case, adding it as non-Steam game is the only way; and that means Steam Store bought Shark Cards won't work for him.
