Try reinstalling the software for it and please choose the right OS bit (64-bit or 32-bit)!
Hmmm.... I think you should ask on the Logitech Forums, cuz this kinda seems a problem with the hardware and Windows 10.
-Unplug the receiver of G930 from usb port.
-Go to control panel -> devices and printer and delete all G930 devices (it is more than one if you use different usb ports)
-Uninstall Logitech Gaming Software.
-Restart your PC.
-Plug the receiver of G930 to any usb port and wait for the auto installation of driver. DO NOT INSTALL f*cking LOGITECH GAMING SOFTWARE!
-Now surround should work.
1st right click on start menu and select "device manager" and expand "sound, video and controllers" . Right-click on "Logitech **** Gaming Headset" and select uninstall then Tick "Delete the driver software for this device"
2nd right click start menu and select settings.. \apps\apps and features then select Logitech Gaming Software and Uninstall it THEN UNPLUG Headset and USB Headset Dongle and RESTART
3rd Go to C:\Users.. then select your user login folder then click on the address bar and at the end of the current listed directory type in app data (E.G. C:\Users\LoginNameHere\appdata) In here you want to open 2 folders... 1st open "Local" and delete "Logitech" folder, 2nd go back to appdata directory and open "Roaming" and again delete "Logitech folder"
4th go to directories that Logitech was installed (usually BOTH c:\program files AND c:\program files (x86) ) and delete both Logitech Folders there
5th Hold windows key on keyboard and press R (this will bring up the Run command), type in "regedit" and press enter. In this registry you will be deleting 2 Logitech Folder Directories. The First 1 is located
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Logitech and the second:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Logitech
Delete BOTH of these Logitech folder Directories
NOW.... Install latest Logitech gaming software and RESTART after it is done installing. THEN and ONLY THEN can you plug your headset and usb headset dongle back in and Wah-La! Good as new!
If Logitech is reading this, I would strongly consider your company create a Cleaner program to fully wipe all traces of your software for instances like these, or at least add an option to wipe all previous settings in future updates to cut down on Trouble Tickets!
Type msconfig and click OK.
On the General tab, click Selective startup.
Clear the Load startup items check box.
Click the Services tab.
Select the Hide all Microsoft services check box (at the bottom).
Click Disable all.
Click the Startup tab.
Click Open Task Manager.
On the Startup tab, right-click each enabled startup item and select Disable.
Click OK.
Click Restart.
Install lower version of LGS:
64 bit ftp:/ftp.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/gaming/LGS_8.50.281_x64_Logitech.exe
32 bit ftp:/ftp.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/gaming/LGS_8.50.281_x86_Logitech.exe
After completing your troubleshooting, restore your system by doing the following:
Press the "Windows + R" key to open a Run box.
Type msconfig and click OK.
On the General tab, select Normal startup.
Click the Services tab.
Clear the Hide all Microsoft services check box.
Click Enable all.
Click the Startup tab.
Click Open Task Manager and enable all of your startup programs.
Click OK.
Click Restart.
I have uninstalled the program Logitech gaming with a program called revo uninstaller (which does most of the of what comment #6 suggests), unplugged the device, removed all devices related to G930 in device manager and installed Logitech gaming again which will restart the computer. After the OS is up plugged the device and restarted again.
