SIMS stuff from Steam is only for STEAM.
I bought Sims 3 specifically on Steam so I'd be able to buy the expansions wherever they're the cheapest and still have them all end up together on Origin. Maybe worth it to you to get the base game during the next sale.
There may be no spoons, but there certainly are keys. ;)
After I got the base game on Steam I also can personally confirm that Steam version of the DLC has a retail CD key, which works with Origin.
Maybe this might help someone else in similar situation.
Have a great game!
if product keys for steam ea games work on origin would that not make it possable to buy the ea game on steam activate it on origin then refund the game through steam.
now ive said it im sure there will be someone who tries it.
also now i think about it it would probably say that the key is allready redeemed/inuse.
vs.
".. I also can personally confirm that Steam version of the DLC has a retail CD key, which works with Origin. .."
Spot the difference? :)
So it's essentially true under the current circumstances.
Nope. Not pretty much, not even close. Not even in the same ballpark. Bad Motha said this in full:
Both lines in his second post are demonstrably false and since they explain his first post, that's wrong too.
