Coupon Code Redeem

HI, i just received a couple of coupon for steam from Square Enix and i dont know how to redeem them ! I've tried the ''Activate a product on Steam'' but it doesn't work. Need help !

There must be more instructions from Square Enix about the steam coupon.

This is the instructions :
For the remaining games, follow the steps below:
1. Create a new account at: https://store.steampowered.com/login/
2. Download and install Steam.
3. Launch Steam and log into your Steam account
4. Click on ' Add a game...' in the bottom left corner
5. Enter your activation key.
6. You will then see your game in the 'Library' - click on 'Install'.
7. Once installed, click 'Play'.

I did everything but still not working

You've not said what happens after activating the code. What exactly is the error message?

The code is wrong or its not a valid code.
