Payment Options In Brazil (Can't buy anything)
Hello guys, I'm experiencing an very annoying problem. I already opened a ticket with the support team and they sent me here, to try solve that. The problem is that when I try to buy something, The values are showed in Brazilian Real Currency, but the payment options just show me a way to pay with a MasterCard, Visa or JCB (All International credit cards, there is no PayPal or something else). None of that payment are a national option that can redirect me to a local partner that permits me checkout completely. I already formatted my PC to try solve that but, no success here. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

Because PayPal doesn't support Brazilian. Blame Valve for localizing Steam.

What?
You can pay using Boleto Bancário, bank transfer, and yes, Paypal too...
There are lots of options for payment in Brazil actually and they should all show when you try to complete an order...

Hello ygoran, I just had the same issue as you. This is how I solved it:
1. I chose Bitcoin as the payment method
2. The Steam client showed me the BitPay screen
3. I closed this screen by clicking the upper-right 'x'
4. Steam showed me a screen warning me that my purchase was still pending, but on this screen all the Brazilian options were available
5. I marked the option to cancel the previous pending purchase
6. I chose VISA (National) and proceeded from there

There seems to be a bug in the Steam client regarding Brazilian payment methods. These options are not shown when you try to do a purchase initially but they show up when the user cancels a purchase mid-way.
Hope this helps!

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
