FO4: Not letting me start on a new game

I have everything that is recommended plus more. I start the launcher just fine, but when I get to the point of creating a new gameplay, it will seem like it launches, but then crashes. I tried doing the thing by changing the preferences, plus DXCPL. I do not know what to do, please help!

Just for fun, what are your specs? Also have you tried to verify the integrity of your game cache?

Specs? and no I guess I haven't? I am farely new to the gaming world on pc. I tried reloading my pc and it still does not work.

Usual reasons not able to run a new AAA game like F4:

1. your computer is POS
2. your drivers are outdated

My PC is very on the edge of minimal requirements, yet I manage to play the game on 1920x1080 with 8xAA and FXAA, godrays on minimal. Im surprised myself how well it runs. But on other hand I have a older gaming desktop and not some office laptop like majority of Steam which was outdated already the day before it was bought.

What cpu, graphics card, operating system and how much ram do you have?

As for verifying the game cache, follow these steps:
1. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.

2. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.

Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.

Hey, to find out your specs, hold the windows key and press R, in the box type msinfo32 and hit enter.

That integrated GPU equals to a ancient GTS 450 in performance - while 550 Ti is minimum.

You can try to update your Intel drivers but even if you manage to run it, await very low FPS.

Your issue is you are running integrated graphics instead of a dedicated graphics card. It is not near good enough to run the game. You can try dropping your resolution as low as it can go, turning your settings to low and turning off antialiasing/ambient occlusion to see if you can even get it to load but if I were you I would refund the game before you get over the 2 hours "played" and are unable to.

I bought the game 8 hours ago.... I am going to see if i can get it to work... thank you

Are you sure you don't have a dedicated GPU as well as the intergrated one?. You don't see many laptops with 16GB of RAM and 6th gen I7s relying purely on intergrated graphics.

Do you know how to open device manager? If so open it up and post everything that's listed under the display adapters tab.
