How to become unVAC banned

I have been unrightfully VAC banned. I was playing a competitive match in CS:GO and someone accused me of hacking, even though I did poorly in the match. Everyone the juxtaposing team were friends with this kid, so they decided to report me, even some members of my team did as well. I know this was a good hearted joke, but I like CS:GO and would never cheat. I have a 60 dollar inventory and 100 hours of playtime as well, so why would I even hack in the first place. I am now barred from trading and cannot play with friends due to this ban. Any help with this is appreciated!

You aren't VAC banned.

I am, it hasn't appeared on my account yet, but when I play the game, it says my account it permenantly banned.

If that's the case. In game reports won't trigger a VAC ban. VAC is automated and detected illicit files.

You probably been prem banned from a server (in which case it's entirely up to the admin/mods of that server).

You don't appear to be VAC banned, but if you are that can't be removed and is forever...

But it still won't let me play. Can I do anything? Is this a temporary ban or what? It says permanent so I'm still not sure why VAC isn't showing up.

What server is it? Does it have it's own Admin? If so, you will need to ask them about it... depending on what you did to get banned in the first place, they might give another chance or confirm it's permanent (in which case, you will have to find another server to play on).

It's any online server, even tried community ones. I've never played on any kind of server before this ban besides casual and competitive games.

Yeah, it appears to of detected your modified files or memory used for cheating. It's probably marked you, waiting for the next VAC wave to confirm and be applied to a collection of cheaters.

GG - Game over. It's forever if that's the case. No way around it, unless you want to start from scratch with a new steam account and repurchase the games again... learn to live with your mistake.

The only file I have modified was the crosshair settings, maybe this is what's causing the problem?

Ingame customizations won't lead you to a ban. You can modify the crosshair in the game console and/or config file, that wouldn't matter because it's part of the game.

You cheating, injecting, modifying files or game memory, would of triggered it.
