Discovery Queue not working
I used to love checking out the suggestions in my Discovery Queue. Sometimes it would lead to a purchase. But ever since the last Steam update my Queue has stopped working. It just goes in a cycle and I never see anything past the first game. It seems a number of people are having this problem, so how come no one from Steam is responding or letting us know they care?

It's some old bug that's happened before -- usually after an update. I learned a trick somewhere in these forums a few months back:

1) Switch to Big Picture mode (the gamepad icon next to your name at the upper right.)
2) Click on Store
3) Click on For You
4) Start "Explore your cue" The "Next in queue button reappears along with a fresh list.

You can watch you queue then and there, or switch back to normal mode:

5) Click on the Steam icon to get back to the home screen
6) Click on the Power Icon
7) Exit Big Picture mode.

You should find your queue working again.

It doesn't work, in Big Picture says "There was an error loading your next queue item. Please try again later." when clicking on a title from the list :(

What fixed it for me was removing all maps from:

...\steamapps\common\Portal 2\portal2\maps\workshop

as described here (I actually removed everything, didn't use the bat script): https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1134576944

Funny how everybody (including me) is grateful for a working workaround and not questioning at all why a bug can happily reappear for 7 years straight and not be fixed
