How can I stop the battleye eula popup? Only using game on my LAN
I'd like to stop the popup to read and accept the battleye EULA. I have already gone to the eula and pressed "No" to say I don't want to accept it but it keeps popping up every time I play my game.

The game I am playing is ARK and this only started poping up over the past few days.

I have no interest in battleye as I only play ARK on my LAN with my wife and she connects from a laptop with limited disk space so I don't want anything like battleye to download additional stuff onto that machine.

BattlEye=0 in your server config.

General Zod. Can you tell me which config file to put this in?

I grepped to find an existing setting and didn't find anything, and looked and there are tons of various ini files. So no luck.

Mind you I noticed that Battleye already seems to be installed. I guess the alternative is to figure to how to remove it entirely.

Try the config.ini file

unfortunately there is no file called config.ini in any of the ark or steam folders on my computer.

Actually, now that I'm trying things out, it isn't a server issue at all. It is with the client. Even with my server turned off, the popup shows up even before the ark splash screen when I try to run the ark client.

Even if I say "no" to the eula request, pops up every time i run the game.

It looks like Battleye is just not programmed very well. You should only have to say no once but they just keep asking.

In any case, I have found a workaround. If I launch Steam separately and then execute shootergame directly rather than launching through steam, the popup doesn't show up.
