Trying to start game recording but lag is a huge problem!

Hi everyone!
I have just created a youtube channel and I am trying to record gameplay videos. I bought fraps and sure it works, "sometimes" but what i get is less than beautiful. Gameplay will be perfect while I'm recording but the finished videos will be choppy (while audio is perfect).

I also have tried using OBS as well, which I'm having a lot of luck with, but still it has its faults. I'm trying to learn OBS's best settings for my pc. Because! certain games will slow down when I record with OBS. While other recordings go perfect.

What Im looking for is something to record my games with very little stress on my cpu.

I'm running a Macbook pro 2015, with 8gb ram, 125gb memory.
2.7 GHz Intel Core i5
Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB

I am using bootcamp to run windows 8 and I use an external hard drive for all my windows junk like steam games, videos, and programs. Now i know this is a less that perfect setup but I'm looking for some help with either correct OBS settings, or a program that is better than OBS and fraps!

Please let me know if you have any help, and please no stupid hate mail about my macbook and don't tell me to buy a new pc.

To record my with frap ... no problem , get a better machine, man you have little
Or make your vid. smaller in size " I do mine 1980/1080 HD " no problem ....also use Cyberlink to edit it " but before editting I use another program to change it to MP4 from Wondershare .... :-)

I think your problem is related to your Macbook. As far as I know, Fraps is made to run on regular Windows machines and since this is not the case with your computer, Fraps may have some issues.
The other option is simply poor specifications, but I can't see why your computer would be too weak to record gameplay.
Try recording on a regular PC and report back.

Get to know Frap.... sometime you have to use altenate software to do what has to be done !
