How to tell if someone is blocking you?

I have this ... quirky... friend on my friendslist who likes to have his state as offline, but sometimes he 'jokes' he is going to block me. Can any of you tell me how I can tell if he is actually blocking me or just offline?

In the future, an easy way to check if you've been blocked is to see if you can see the comment field in the other person's screenshots / artwork / videos / review / other UGC.

Or just see if you show up under their profile's friendslist. (You actually don't if you're blocked.)

Try applying /screenshots to the profile URL's end.

Public UGC is still visible; even if the profile was private.

Not trying to derail here, but if you see a private profile despite them being a friend does that mean you're blocked or?

Here's a hint. Just remove him from your friends list. It may be rather clear that they are not really into being friends with you.

If your friend really was your friend, he would never joke about blocking you. Send him a message, say your goodbyes and delete him. If he really wanted to be your friend, he would make more of a effort. Heck, if you delete him maybe that will be a sign to him, and if he really wants to stay friends, he will re-add you. Good luck!
