My Account got hacked + Hacked a game's leaderboard!!!!
I just noticed today, something happened, firstly my game library was half empty, some games were hidden, secondly the store page region was in russian, noticed by the currenecy. Finally, in Black Ops III leaderboard, it seems like the hacker, hacked into the leaderboard and made me on top 20 in rounds survived.

I haven't been banned yet, I have contacted Activision and Steam support about it. I mean, I'm going to get banned by something that I never done, what should I do?

Please don't say I deserve this because I hacked the game, which I don't.

You will need to wait for steam to deal with it with their support but your account security is for you to maintain according to steam and if you get banned because of what this person does it will apply when you get your account back.

Steam has steam guard for your account for a reason to protect you and not using it is something you do at your own risk.

Do you know how many people use the "My friend did it" or "My account was hacked".

Rules are rules, you're responsible for your account security and you're responsible for any actions taken by your account.

Once Treyarch find out, you will probably be banned.

Well I didn't know many people use that before, I literally terrified about what's going to happened. I'm not responsible with any action that took place when that bastard hacked into my account am I? I don't have full control when he or she is hacking into my account whenever I'm inactive.

Look, I'm not trying to sound harsh. It's just that I'm worried to death...

@Chompman, I did use steam guard, but not the steam app (Android/IOS) version... I better check my email just in case anything happened there.

Game bans are very rarely permanent and whatever the hacker used clearly didn't trigger a VAC ban (which is permanent).

If you are banned, you'll have a big red message on your profile telling people you've been banned.

So, is that like a minor good sign of not getting banned?

Treyarch and TAC (Treyarch Anti-Cheat Team) are probably busy policing Bo3 now, your infraction may be seen as insignificant enough to overlook. But only time will tell.

Edit: Ahh sorry it was Bo3... Urgh, I would think you'd probably receive a ban of some kind then >_<

I just wish that they do something about it expect from banning me. Temporally ban is enough.
