how to get steam profile backgrounds

i want a background on my profile,
but i don't know how to do it...

you have to craft a badge to get a random background for the game you crafted a badge for. or you can buy them on the steam market. or trade for one.

Like said, when you craft a game badge, it gives you a profile background :)

Or you can trade a profile background with a friend too!
PS: your friends might have some profile background he/she doesn't need, so he/she might give you it for free!

you need trading cards to craft badges.
you can buy them from the market or trade for them.

SOME game/s have game badges, you can get half of the amount of the trading cards for crafting game badges by playing your game(you'll automaticly earn card drops) The other half, well... You'll have to buy it in the community market!
