From what I can tell you have the game on your account and played 20+ hours of it, so I'm going to assume you "accidentally remove the gift" by activating it to your account.
If you're asking how you can turn it back into a gift to trade it again, you can't.
Thanks, I was aware of that :) Though that only works on gifts that are actually expired, like my Dead Island Epidemic beta passes. It doesn't work on valid gifts.
i think as Phaece says that only works on expired gifts not ones that still work? Hmm..
One would think the new Tomb Raider would count as valid and thus not be deletable..?
Just out of curiosity, why did your friend send you a gift of Rise of the Tomb raider if you already owned the game?
That means you activated the game to your account, which yes, removes the gift as a gift can only be used once.
Activated gifts can not be turned in to gifts again, the game is now tied to your account forever.
There is no way to do what you are asking.
You are confused, thirteen, and think you deleted the gift when really you "added it to your library/activated the gift".
As Pheace said activating a gift "deletes" it from the gift Inventory.
This would explain why you "owned the game after you deleted the gift".
