All Non Visual Novel Games Run Extremely Slow
Can't figure out what to do about how any game I've downloaded on Steam (bought, demos, doesn't matter as long as it's not a visual novel type of game) run so slow.

I've tried updating my graphics, not that I know what I'm really looking for but the computer did a search and updated it for me, and it solved nothing.

I tried a couple YT videos, one where I ended up having to do a system restore in the end because it made my computer font look weird, then another where you go into the settings of your library and check off everything but the "community content" of the game. Neither helped.

Is there anyway I can make these run correctly without having to do all this "go to system/then run/then system/delete everything/copy and paste this here and there/go back to run and enter this, etc? Not just because I don't understand what it means, but because I don't want to screw up my computer again and then have to figure out how to fix it again.

To also add, the only thing I can tell you for sure about my computer is that it's Windows 10 and HP brand.

At the top of the Steam client, click "Help" and then "System Information."

Intel HD graphics is just a bit limited; there's probably not much you can do, other than trying to set everything at minimum and see if that helps.
You don't have a dedicated graphics card, but only an on-board chip. That's not enough to really run games. It makes sense that VNs work good, as they don't require much graphic power.
