Unable to link correct YouTube account
Whenever I attempt to post a new video and link my correct YouTube account I get the following message:

"There were no videos found in your YouTube collection to choose from.

You are only able to add YouTube videos that are public visibility, allow embedding, and that show up in a username search for your username. If you just now set a video to public in order to link your account, it may take some time for YouTube to index and it to show up in search results.

You currently have the YouTube account linked to Steam.Click here to change YouTube accounts"

I have clicked the link to unlink whichever account it is talking about, and when I click the button to link a YouTube account it just gives me the same message above. Help!

I have the same problem. I've unlinked and relinked my youtube account multiple times and it still says "There were no videos found in your YouTube collection to choose from.". I've tried restarting steam, remove steam browser cache and cookies, but none works.

Ugh. I went to work and tried it there and got it to work. But I don't want to have to do that every time I need to upload a new game to Steam. :steamfacepalm:

I don't know if it's related or not, but I renamed my yt videos with the game title at the front and then add the game title in the video category, and after a while the video appeared in my steam for me to share. maybe you can give it a try.

Thanks for the advice! Maybe I will test that out.

I figured it out! So when you see the option to unlink your account, click on the YouTube link. It will take you to basically a web browser with your YouTube info. Sign out! Then go back and try again to link your YouTube account and it will ask you to sign in and it should work! Lemme know if this works for you too!!

I was also getting the "There were no videos found in your YouTube collection to choose from." Message. What worked for me was unlinking my Youtube account AND logging out of steam then re-logging back in and relinking the Youtube account.
After this all my videos appeared.

I found that when I deleted the video that I had there (I only had 1, and only 1 on youtube) it started working again.

Current theory is that with no new videos on YouTube it glitched out and didn't know how to show the upload screen even when I uploaded a second video.

There is a button on that screen to refresh the video list (when it works). I feel like there's a bug in there somewhere...

I tried signing off from both Steam and Youtube, deleting cookies, etc. It only worked when I purged all data from my browser. lol
But thanks for this!

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
