Is there an alternative to captcha?

As the title says, apparently I am not a human because I don't consider a mailbox a fire hydrant, so is there an alternative to creating a new account for family? I turned off my vpn so I know that isnt the issue. The issue is captcha is so horrible I dont know if they want only the fire hydrants, which as a human would be all needed, or if they want mailboxes too because to a computer they look like a fire hydrant. The fire hydrant example is just one of the ones I failed.

My idea of a crosswalk, traffic light, bicycle, car, bus, and motorcycle is not what the capcha wants. I even clicked on the pics with a sliver of the aforementioned pics, Nothing works.

I'm having the same problem. And its not through a browser, its when you open the Steam software.

Is there anyway to email steam customer support?

The issue usually ends up being that the user has some type of blocker blocking Google cookies through extensions, using a VPN, or iCloud Private Relay on MACs.

Stop looking like a bot:
* Use a common browser
* Use a common operating system (Windows, any Linux derivative, MacOS)
* (Temporarily) accept cookies
* Don't use a root server's IP address (don't use a VPN or a proxy, would contravene the SSA anyway)
* Don't act in a predictable pattern, act human (if you think you are caught in a CAPTCHA loop, change your behaviour and try at a different time with a different set of indicators, do not actually try to solve the CAPTCHAs flawlessly, this makes you even more suspicious)
