Controller Issues

This is in reference to 'Cyberpunk 2077' (GoG ver.)

I don't know how nor why, but the "B" button to 'crouch' or 'dodge/dash' doesn't work. Instead, it either copies buttons "A" or "Y" (jump). I'm using an Xbox controller and I've tried a few different ones at that with the same results. Changing the controls in Settings doesn't help any. Actually, the controllers are experiencing similar issues in other games as well (I hope that you can help me with the controller issue as a whole).

It was all working just fine and then one day; bang! Everything goes to crap. Are there controller drivers that I need to look up and update? I'm not computer savvy so I don't know. And if you can help me, please do so in laymans terms and detailed instructions. Such as saying for ex: "Go into the directory......." isn't going to help me; I have no idea where that'd be...

With Steam not running, do you get the same behaviour?

Yes. Cyberpunk is played from gog. Have issues with Assassin's Creed Syndicate as well; played from the Ubisoft app. When pressing the "L3", a virtual keyboard pops up (all games so far).

There's not a way for me to update; only test the controller(s). The controllers work, it's just the weird "B" button and "L3"...

Can you post a screenshot with the on-screen keyboard displayed? It could help to work out what is remapping the controller.
