I would go with the xBox One controller.

Looking at some material, both controllers should work if they have Bluetooth and your PC has BT, if not, you would need the dongle for wireless or the micro-USB data/power cable (PS4) or USB-C (PS5).

PS5 may be better and seemingly they are same price as PS4. But it depends on your needs.
Stay away from PS3...
