Help I need to access my old Steam account to play Skyrim

To briefly set the scene, I had a stroke some while back (fairly well recovered). I now find fast action games difficult. I have a Steam account (on my current PC, with lots of games, mainly strategy, survival, building types. I have Skyrim on my old laptop with a different steam account. How do I play the old game on my current PC. I have researched steam and reddit forums and they are either too old to trust or want to answer questions not pertinent to me. All I want is to play Skyrim on my old account on my newer one. Thanks in advance :)

You simply keep using your older account. Steam accounts are not bound to a singular computer.

Ypu can use family sharing.

Thanks for the quick replies. I am somewhat concerned of having my newer account banned due to some perceived due to using a second account on the same device. So, in short I can log my old account with family sharing, or make a new steam login with the old details?

You won't get banned for using multiple accounts, it's not against the rules.

You can use family sharing, yes. You can also simply log in on the old account on your PC whenever you want to play Skyrim.

I been using half a dozen accounts for over 10 years on the same PC and never ran into any problems.
You can have as many accounts as you want, even registered to the same email.
But in this case, if its just that one game, just use Family Share. No reason to jump between accounts.

There is no rule on Steam against having multiple accounts or using an account on multiple computers.

There is a reason why there is a Change Account function built into the client, for this purpose.
