Steam Starts hidding games after 100 games on wishlist (Read everything before ansering)

So i was chechick my wishlist the other day when i realised that there were more games on my wishlist button on the top right of the screen than actual games on the list. After doing some research i followed this tutorial (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1746978201) and removed 8 hidden games from my wishlist. All well and good until them. However i soon noticed that the amount of visible games on my wishlist had also decreased, and again there was a decrepancy between the number of visible games and the number indecated on the button.

I decided to investigate further. I went to the Steam Wishlist Calculator (https://www.steamwishlistcalculator.com/) and discovered that there was 4 hidden games on my wishlist. They were normal games you could buy today, games that i had put on the list, but weren't on it. But anyway i manually unwishlisted them on their store pages. After this i checked the calculator and discovered that i still had 4 unlisted games, however this were diferent games. I did the same to those games but the same thing happend again.

So i fully cleared my wishlist and started adding games again 1 by 1. However, games started disapearing again. But i was smarter, i decied to experiment.

So here's what i found: If you have 99 or less games on your wishlist, you're fine. However when you add your 100th game, the game is added, but another, semenlly random game on your list becomes hidden. You can keep adding games past that, and they will be added like normal. If you try to unwishlist the hidden game on your list, another game will take it's place and become hidden. You can keep unwishlisting games until you reach 99 games again, where everything will return to normal and all games will be visible.

One thing to consider. The Steam Wishlist calculator seems to work perfectly. The hidden the games it mentions are all invisible on your wishlist.

So what do you guys think. Is it a bug ? Can i solve it ?

You have a game that has since been delisted at some point, for one of various reasons. That is the bug with the wishlists. It has nothing to do with how many you add to your wishlist. I know. I currently have 436 on mine.

Follow this guide to find the hidden game(s) and remove them:

Yes, this is true but this is not my problem. I used Steam Wishlist calculator to the see what games i had that were hidden. They were regular games that you could still buy today like stardew valley and factorio.

I never said that you couldn't have over 100 games on your wishlist. All I said is that if you have over 100 games on you wishlist at least one of them is hidden.

I did follow this specif guide, the link to it is even in my original post. However, after i removed the hidden games other games became hidden, i after i removed those other games became hidden again.

If you don't belive be go to Steam Wishlist Calculator, click on export, then click on unlisted games. You will see you have at least one hidden game. And no matter how many times you try to remove it, some other game will become hidden

Just confirming this is still an issue. It's not delisted games. It's valid games, sometimes new releases, that are randomly removed from the visible Wishlist (in all searches and sort options) when the number of items in the list exceeds around 98 items.

Steam Wishlist Calculator can identify the missing items. Going to the item's Store Page and removing/re-adding it to the Wishlist sometimes makes it reappear at the bottom with 0 rank, but another title will then go missing.

The only solution is to reduce the number of items in the Wishlist to under 98.

This has been an ongoing issue for years and affects the Wishlist in all platforms (browser, client, mobile). "Refreshing the cache" as was suggested 2 years ago does not resolve the problem. It's definitely a Steam server-side issue.

So I have 2,119 wishlisted games but after the 2,118th wishlisted game, I see this message:

"OOPS, YOU CAN'T VIEW THIS WISHLIST
You don't have permission to view this user's wishlist."
