Ask Hardware and Operating Systems
And be lucky if someone will explan you all the missing information you dont provide.
https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/11/

You might be a experts in pc and all is fine, but you dont tell us anything here,

Ask every game devs, they have support, and be lucky if someone will tell you own pc issue, thats how we all learn this years ago.

Please list these things
Cpu:
GPU:
MB:
PSU:
RAM:

If you have any extra things like special controll RGB, side mini screen in your case, and such that can be good to know as well.

Did this happen after an windows or video driver update?

What did the windows error / blue screen message say? Can try checking windows log.

If problem did exist in hardware / building, then it likely would've revealed the problem almost immediately. But sure problem could occur later. Bluescreen is something that is very rare these days to happen unless you got issues with faulty low level codes(as said, rare) or hardware.

From get-go, I'd check to do manual driver installations. Then if that doesn't work, just reformat the OS, as it can be faster to resolve. Then after, you'd know if it actually was faulty hardware. You'll have to test each hardwares one by one starting with the highly probable faulty one.

That laptop is not suitable for gaming.
A low powered quadcore, only 8GB RAM which is also shared with the integrated videochip.
The lack of a dedicated videocard only makes it worse.

^This. Also not exactly sure case with that person, as I can assume one of the following.
- Over heating.
- Software error.

It's best to check windows log to find out what error message said when it blue screen to know if it due to over heating, driver issue, or etc...

What can do is doing windows error check to see if the OS is fine. Open CMD as admin type
SFC /scannow
after that if it reports nothing then all good, if say there error, or found problems, then want to do this, open CMD as admin type
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
after that finish restart pc when get back into PC open CMD as admin one last time, then type
sfc /scannow
then should work.

Now for driver issue, no idea what can be as only windows log can tell us if there such problems that give us an idea, and since using intel igpu it's rarely ever becomes the problem unless there a problem update for it which can come from windows update, but again its rare to even happen for igpus, but if it was igpu windows log will tell you.

For over heating issues, that something have to dust your system out if haven't done it for long time, there chance built too much dust that blocks air flow, and cause system to have problems.

Hi I have the same problem. All my steam games are crashing back to desktop, I don't get a blue screen though. It started around the 22nd November. I have updated every driver and the Bios since the first crash, run scan and verification and have no issue, uninstalled and reinstalled Steam and the games. I switched off the firewall and anti virus checkers, I have tried to play on a previous version of Microsoft. I have a Laptop (also windows 11 pro, but no other simialirites to the PC) and playing the lowest spec game, experienced the same problem. I have tried the laptop on another Board band provider and the crash is the same. A short time after playing the game it crashes back to desktop and the more power hungry the game the quicker the crash.
PC and laptop played all game perfectly well before the last few weeks of November.
Beginning to believe I'd gone mad, thanks for posting. Also worth noting nothing else on my PC crashes.

You're better off making your own topic. Hijacking other people's topics is bad etiquette and chances are it's not a related issue. Unrelated topics should be separate topics.

What are the games in question having issue with?

Did you check windows logs?

Are you using any 3rd party apps running in background that hooks into other apps, mess with files, and permissions?

Have you check your drive health, and did error scan ensure windows kernel is ok?
