Cant Download Anything - "Servers Unreachable" (Solved/NotSolved)

This just started happening yesterday,. Where I have updates for my games but clicking download does nothing. It happens to every game so I know the problem is steam.

I found a solution. I turned off my modem for 10 minutes so I would have a completely fresh connection and after I did that the downloads were working again.

It happened again the next day....

You are not alone. I tried to change download region and to clear the cache. It just says next to each game that I don't have internet connection, but obviously I have.

Cant download anything is not same as "I don't have internet connection,"
steam tell you this, and that mean line into steam aient establized.

Problem is, is that also OP problem or do he have other issue, ppl might think its same its not client tell you this in button of the client if there is no internet connection is there.

enough free room or is all steam library still added to steam storage manager,
this is know as steam crash, and things now dont work as it once did.

You might want to look at test with cable or do you have wifi issue that prolong latancy
there was a steam user that notice past 300milisec issue and that look like timeout,
so any vpn or many switch in basement to wifi in top of this could explan alot, you could ask own ISP why you cant connected to steam, maybe you have a issue with to many jumps so line into it is a issue, feel free to test with other spare pc or test pc you know work other place. ( you try avoid you have own cpe issue , if test pc work. )

Same here. I can't download games or workshop.

Ive been able to work around this by clicking the download button multiple times, it eventually works.

Only first it was saying something like «can't reach content servers». And if you check the forum, you will see multiple other people also have similar problem. It may say different things to different people, but it looks like the problem is rather on Steam's side. Because otherwise it would be some unbelievable coincidence.

I tried many different things[i.imgur.com]. Nothing worked until I tried a free VPN (Planet VPN). Try this and let us know if it helped. (It may require restarting Steam to make it work.)

Anyway, this must be something on Steam's side, because there are already multiple people with this.

I tried that before, but it didn't help. Maybe I should try it once more...

Maybe you just need to keep your modem off a bit longer.

I had it off for an hour, got a new dynamic IP, but problem stayed.

I had also emptied the steams download cache, and switched download location, and turned off my anti-virus for good measure. So perhaps some combination of those is what did it, Im not sure, but for the moment my download are working again.

having this sane issue with Kingdom Come Deliverance, says "content unavaliable" or something like that, been happening since yesterday when i bought a few games including KCD, the other games downloaded and installed fine, but KCD wont, tried clearing the cache, nothing, changing region several times, nothing.

found something that worked, i disabled the proxy on my computer, and then ran steam in admin and its working for me now.
