Questions about publishing demos on steam

Greetings, I'm creating my own indie video game and have an important question.

At the moment, the video game is in development. The issue is whether I can upload the demo of my game on Steam (with its cover and corresponding page) BEFORE publishing the game on Steam. In other words, being able to publicly upload the demo on Steam for people to try it out and add the game to their wishlists while I focus on developing and completing the full game. (And when I have it finished, being able to upload the complete game on the same demo page).

Simply put, I want to know if I can upload the demo while I continue developing or if I should wait until I finish my game to simultaneously publish both the demo and the full game.

I would also like to know (in case the above is not possible) if alternatively, I can upload my game on Steam as a complete game but labeled as a demo, meaning upload my game with the name "------- + DEMO" and then over time, upload the complete game on a different Steam page when it's finished.

You create a store page for the game and add a Demo to the that page.

You create a store page for the game and add a Demo to the that page.

No. You create a store page for the game and add a Demo option on that page.

You dont need to complete the game to have a store page. You just need to create a store page for the game itself, like this one...

You dont need to complete the game to have a store page. You just need to create a store page for the game itself, like this one...
