Get dualshock 3 working on Steam on windows 11
Hi

I'm trying to connect my dualshock 3 to the PC through USB cable, Steam see it but it doesn't recognize any input from it. I have seen this guide on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamController/comments/5qp7va/configuration_how_to_use_dualshock_3_on_windows/ but it seems that I don't have this driver present in the windows folder X:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\sixaxis.inf_WXYZ

Any help?

Ok that old version comes with the sixaxis.inf_WXYZ driver but to get it working on windows you need to disabled isolation core funciton. Also even after disambling it, steam then recognized the controller but jedi survivor that I have added to the steam library doesn't....any help?

Does Steam show the game as running? You'd want it to be that way - means Steam knows to provide the controller support. If so, is the Steam overlay enabled and accessible in the game?

I don't have Jedi Survivor but had Fallen Order on Origin before getting it on Steam.
This was the executable I'd added to have Steam stuff working:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Jedi Fallen Order\SwGame\Binaries\Win64\SwGame-Win64-Shipping.exe"

Perhaps it's the executable you added, but if not, see if there's a similar ...\Binaries\Win64\ path and '...Shipping' executable for Survivor.

I'm also thinking an alternative to try: add & run the EA Launcher via Steam, then run the game from the launcher.

Other thoughts would be using DsHidMini (or perhaps SCPToolkit?? not sure about it and Win11...) to get the DS3 support. They'd make controller usage in non-Steam games easier.
