PC stuttering/lag
Had my PC for just over a year now but since the start of October i've ran into an issue and i cannot figure out how to fix it. I will be playing a game like Dead By Daylight or Overwatch and out of nowhere my entire pc will just stutter/lag non-stop to the point i have to restart it to fix it/ My game and discord audio stay completely fine, just my screen goes bonkers but on other games, i haven't encountered the problem. My temps and usage are completely fine across all the games i play. I've tried lowering my graphics in game (for DBD), i've scanned for corrupted files and repaired them, switched the game from my SSD to HDD, i cleaned my entire pc of dust and such and it still does it. I just reinstalled my graphics drivers about 10 minutes ago so ill be trying to see if that fixes it but truthfully, i dont think it will. Any help will be appreciated.

Also, im not entirely sure how to find all my specs but i do know some of them!

My specs:
CPU: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400F
GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060
Ram: 16GB

It´s DBDs issue. The game is hostile to your GPU to say the least. Avoid it at all costs.

I've seen a few videos where people have had some stutters whilst playing the game specifically but the reason i dont believe its DBD for me personally is because it has happened on another game too.

It could be anything from drivers to thermal throttling. You should check GPU temps while gaming. If they go over 90°C, you should clean it.

Barely goes over 60°C when on DBD

edit: also dont think its thermal throttling but will keep looking into that. As for drivers, im about to try and play with an older version and see if i run into the problem

I did that with CS GO some months ago. I was stuttering after a driver update and decided to download one from 6 months prior. It worked OK for a year and then I downloaded the latest ones. Now I´m with the newest version and every game is running perfectly.

Do check Brand board support page in chipset drivers or Brand name pc support page.

All this was in the 12th Gen issue, some mention this awile back at steam post, but i cant say its this or has been fixed already.
