Steam wasnt detect any of my games in sd card. HELP!!!
Welp im kinda having problem with my steam games right now. Since I bought a new 500 GB sdxc card, I wanted to install my games there. Everything seems to be normal until I restart steam. It didnt detect any of my games that installed on the sandisk. So I retry to reinstall my games but I cant

I know that installing games on external drives is a bad idea but i dont have any choices left lads..
is there any explanations or solutions for this? Im tired to redownload a same thing again after steam starts...

Make sure the card is active/running before you launch Steam.

Steam scans for libraries on drives when starting, it cant find the SD card library because it does not have a drive letter.
Nothing much you can do, a SD is not a full drive.
You can go into the client under "STORAGE" and then "add a new drive" at the top, then from the dropdown menu select "let me choose another location" at the bottom.
Then point it to the existing Steam library on the SD card, Steam should rescan it and add the games back to your library.
You most likely will have to do that every time Steam restarts.
