Help needed I need Steam support to un-link any active Codemasters account

I can't log into my old Codemasters account and need Steam to un-link any active accounts so I can link Steam to a new Codemasters account. Can somebody please assist?

all linking is done on the games account side. you have to talk to codemasters support to unlink it.

I've tried that but they're as impossible to contact as Steam are. They have a ticket raising function but that doesn't seem to work and takes you back to the self help run-arounds to nowhere, as far as I can tell.

Update: - I've managed to find an email address in the internet [e-mail] and send them a direct message so hopefully will gain some success.

Update: - So I sent an email to the above address with a request to clear my Steam ID from any Codemasters accounts to which I received an automated response stating it is no longer in use and to use their Self help system! So at this point, starting to just accept that it is not going to get fixed.

.....However! I tried to link it again today out of curiosity ..and it Worked!!

Not sure whether someone picked up the email at Codemasters and did a good deed or whether this is just a random glitch that takes weeks of trying and works if you get lucky, and today I got lucky!! In any case, it's worth saying, if you are experiencing the same issue. In the words of Kate bush & Peter Gabriel 'Don't give up!'

I think they ment now its "no longer in use"

Dont forget, things dont fix itself, that not same sa bugs cant happend even access your information and as codemaster support could have lead to a fix, and check your userdata, could have fixed it.

I and others here, are not support here at steam user forum, all this happend at thirdpart client own support site, they did it.

and in top of that login at EA own webpage, theree you can see own thirpart client linked to that account.

Ok so some new info: - My mate has been trying to link his in the same way as we are trying to set up a racing championship and he has NOT sent an email to customer service, he just gave it another go after mine worked and his worked too.
So i'm thinking it could be time of day or sever issue etc. Whatever it is, I see a lot of people have experienced that same issue over a few years with no solution other than it suddenly worked.

So to those that come across this page when they experience this pain, i'd say, keep trying and if it doesn't link today, it may tomorrow. Do also make sure you don't have it linked elsewhere if it's possible and also, My EA account login is different to my Codemasters account for sure so make sure it's Codemasters, for Dirt Rally 2.0, where you set up a community championship.
