Cannot use Controller when my wireless keyboard USB is plugged in.

My Corsair K83 wireless keyboard is appearing in the controller settings, and when it's USB is plugged in i can no longer use my Xbox One controller in game (borderlands GOTY enhanced specifically)

it's like it is prioritising my Keyboard over the controller (they both appear under controller settings)

Is there a way for me to disable my wireless keyboard from appearing as a controller/game pad without removing my USB? i would like to able to use both at the same time.

Did you ever find a fix for this?
I tried disabling various devices in device manager but I've had no luck.
For me it's Elden Ring and Dead Space that are not working with the K83 receiver plugged in.
If you switch to bluetooth mode and remove the receiver it works. But response is not as good and battery life suffers.

Unfortunately did not find a fix, just resorted to removing the USB receiver for specific games.
