I’m currently installing Diablo 4 and everything was fine and said 30 minutes estimated download time but suddenly the download graph thing dropped and the estimated download time kept increasing from 1 month until eventually hitting 1 year and flat lining, with nothing being installed. It did start downloading again but I was wondering if I’m going to have corrupted and missing files due to this. Your picture shows a normal download time so not sure why you posted that?

Besides that I've only seen the 1 year thing when downloading patches for already installed games on my HDD, never on a new download. Uninstalling and reinstalling was quicker.

With the SSD I never see the 1 year thing, so if you're installing to a HDD and have a SSD in your system I'd suggest installing to the SSD and then using the move function to move across to the HDD.

My understanding is it's caused by the way Steam compresses games as they need to be unpacked for install, which can be affecrted by the speed of the components in your PC.
