RESOLVED: Steam big picture mode won't load game library

RESOLVED!

I deleted config and userdata folders from the base steam folder. Loaded up steam, relogged in as it had forgotten my credentials (to be expected), then when I loaded BPM it gave me a "Welcome to big picture mode" tour and now my games all show without issue.

Hi All,

When I load up steam out of BPM, everything works fine. I can browse store, load games, etc. No issues.

When I load BPM up, I don't see any games, and when I try to use the bar at the top to search for games, it just loads forever and does nothing - "Loading game library".

Basically, big picture mode is completely broken for me, and I need it working so I can couch game via steam link.

Any ideas? Already tried clearing appcache folder.

shut down your steam 32bit in the task manager and launch it again

it will automaticly reset the library and all the steam settings

Thanks for responding! Already tried relaunch quite a few times, also tried killing it then running as admin. No luck.

One thing I did notice - if I open the popout menu to the left (With the power button at the bottom) it has a sign in option. Its like BPM doesn't recognise that I am signed in. Even though I definitely am in regular mode.

If I try to sign in, it just loads forever similar to the library load. Does nothing.
