Can not purchase or add anything to my steam library.
Whenever I try and purchase a game the message
"The Steam servers are experiencing a high volume of activity and are unable to process your request at this time. Please try again later."
Pops up and after waiting for two days this still hasnt changed, ive checked to steam status sites and it seems that the site should be running fine and it still lets me wishlist things so im confused on to why this is happening. If anyone has a solution please let me know.

i keep getting the error of unable to complete purchase , been using PayPal forever and now it wont let me checkout. even tho i am logged into PayPal and the cards on file are current and active.

nothing but a blank screen with the steam footer in the middle of the screen.
Upside I saved a quid by purchasing the game on GOG.
I to use PayPal by default, never had any issues before,
But issues tend to tell you there is a problem not just blank screen.
I can bet some other game stores out there will have tons of problems but the 1 they wont have is not taking your money.

This specifically is an issue with Family View that cropped up a couple weeks ago.

Use a browser to completely disable Family View first (this is not the same as using the PIN to turn it off). Then you can use both the Steam client and the mobile app to make your purchases.

You can re-enable Family View at any time after you disable it. It will fix the issue.

Yes managed to disable family view , can now spend to my hearts content.
Been trying to disable family since i enabled it and never could , now its gone its staying gone .
Try later, don't spam Steam by trying again and again.

I got the [Purchases on your account are under investigation.
Steam Support has been contacted by the cardholder or PayPal account holder regarding unauthorized purchases on this account. We are working with them on a resolution. In the meantime, this Steam account will be restricted from purchasing, gifting, trading, CD Key activation and the Steam Community.

For more information, have the cardholder visit Steam Support.] even though its a my PayPal account, don't know whets happening and hoping that my account doesn't get banned...

its probably the battleship I bought for War Thunder and the fact that I tend to overdraw from my PayPal account a lot from steam, hoping that all my games don't get deleated just because of that silly mistake; im just bad with my money...

GUYS I FOUND OUT WHY well for me at least if you have a chargeback or a account alert that restricts your account until some time it will say then u cant do anything such as trade or buy games

That will give you a red account alert that is hard to miss in the client or in browsers.

This is my situation, but I never got my features back :( It said my account would be restricted for 4 weeks, it’s been well over 4 weeks and I’m still getting the same restrictions.

Depending on the severity of the fraud, you might be permanently restricted.
